Illin,
chillin,
feeling like a villain.
Who did you expect, SHAQUILLE
O'NEAL?
Who am I?
Dih
girlz dem suga!!!.
A very peaceful and relaxing scenery 'in
the background', that is.
A typical
cloudy
day.
In the background is the elementary
school I
attended. The church is
located to the left. Biggup to all the "Heart" people. Doesn't
this
bring back memories?
Bingo-time
My family (very big I might add)
participating in
some serious gambling at my uncle's ranch.
What a
gloomy day!!
A shot of downtown (sort of ) and of the
main soccer field located in the background. To the right is our fire
station (Yep, yep, yeppp). Sorry
guys, but I cannot pinpoint the famous
"Blue Angels" (The only archaeological
dance club in Belize).
The
Forum.
Yes folks, a shot of the Forum in the
early 19th century. This is where
I learn my hoop and stuff. The main playground in town nowadays. Sorry
KJ.
Going
to College.
The path I used to walk daily on my way
to
College---"Heart". Very, very laid back isn't it?
Main
street.
This photo shows the end of the main
street
in town. If you're visiting, you can stay at my family's house (right)
which is the one that has the UDP (United Democratic Party) sign
on it. They are die-hard UDP fans.
Just remember that.
Downtown San Ignacio.
The police station/post office is to the
right of the picture (with the flag in front of it..). Dah one lane
bridge is located left-center of the picture.
Dah Bridge..Hawkesworth in
effect.
Belize's only linking bridge. It so happens
that the bridge "links" the enemies. Maybe they should help look after
this antique, the enemies, that is.
Indiana Jones revisited.
I find this picture
very remarkable. Walking across this bridge is not for
the faint-hearted, that is, if you cannot swim, but yet
that dude is riding across it!!
Front view of the high school
I attended.
One of the best in
Belize. Can I get a wa..what?? The name is Sacred
Heart College.
The Lakers having a tryout at
the high school grounds.
I wonder if those guys
take a couple of hours to complete one single
basketball game..."..foul bwoy...why yuh think ah miss
dah shot"?
On campus...
The building in the middle use to
(probably still is) the library. We used to have a scary-looking
librarian..I heard he was cool..I was scared of the guy.
Another view of the high
school.
Very relaxing and very
peaceful back there. I spent my second year in there.
Can you raise the roof for the 2-C's
The Clippers version of a
workout.
This is one dangerous basketball court.
Pray that it is not raining while you're playing. No rain-delays
accepted.
Shot of the river flowing
through town.
This is the version of
Belize's Nile.
Another shot of the river.
For the folks who are
wondering, the name of the river is Macal River. Very
beautiful huh. Didn't I tell you so.
Stresssssfreeeee...
Yet another shot of the all
important Macal River.
You folks should know
by now that I do like this river..although I almost
drowned once. Something stupid that I did but I won't
tell. This shot was taken on my way to branch.
A Mayan ruin discovered.
This ruin was
discovered very recently. I remember running around
this area (this ruin was covered with grass/sand) with some childhood
friends looking for tree limbs to be made
into baseball bats. Tataduende
anyone..
Another shot of the ruins.
Come to think of it..I
wonder if I would still be here if I was the one who
discovered this ruin? Probably not.
A view of the famous Cahal Pech.
I am referring to the hut on top of the hill-center of
picture.
This is Cayo's version
of the Apollo Theater. On Friday nights (Latino Night)
the public is invited to perform live on stage. If
you're talented, you got to represent.
Sacred Heart Chuch.
This picture shows the
top view of the church I attended. Can you see the
Macal River? I bet you can piece the puzzle together.
So where is the Hawkesworth brige located, then?
So natural.
I have always admired
this view I have been fortunate to see on a somewhat
daily basis..while growing up in Belize. The flat part
at the back consists of a huge orange grove...I mean
sweeeeet oranges.
A picture of home.
..ahhh I apologize for
remeniscing folks but men is it relaxing. I wish I
could be.....The two story house at the back is my
parent's home.
San Ignacio Hospital--the
building with the red roofing on top of the hill.
Be very careful if you
get sick. Guys, do you remember waiting in those long
lines under the hot sun for one bottle of medicine and
then getting mad when the nurse "turn-up" her
nose?..know wham' sayin.
San Ignacio Cemetery.
I was contemplating
whether to put this picture on here but just in case
you might want to visit me in year....
Anglican Elementary
school.
This is the USC of
California. I attended Sacred Heart Elementary whilst
my rivals attended Anglican Elementary.
Mike "Russian" Tsirlin.
Me and my friend Tom Cruise..I mean Mike
on grad day. Good luck on your masters Mike.
Me and my mom on grad day.
As proud as you want
to be..baby-baby!!
Graduation day at UCLA.
From left..Sandeep,
Nadir, Andrew, Amyn, the famous Mike, and yours truly.
More grad shots..
From left, Mike,
Siva, Sandeep, and myself. Do you guys notice that Mike
seemed to be everywhere? Could he have been my mom
also--the picture above?
So what do you guys think?
From left, Marsha (Afro-pufs),
Tessa (Shaq-diesel), and Elma (E-Z-E) at 'Strong
Beach.
Working or should I say posing
at Chevron.
Two fellow interns and
myself making a fashion statement.
Valerie (left) and Rosie (right).

Very good (as in
good-looking) freinds of mine. Guys do not bother..all you can do is
salivate.
Me and the one and only
legend..Kaltan in front of the Baldwin Hill Mall
