"Respect is the hardest dollar too earn.

Hard times is a prerequisite for better days.

and if the muscles in your neck don’t burn,

then you need to give up a little more praise."

At times when the storm is just too much

with thunder that prevents you from being heard

And the lightning is fatal with just a touch

As the rain pours down all over your nerves

At times when heaven seems far away

Because you’re living in hell right here on earth

So many obstacles placed in your way

In a line to nowhere and you’re up first

At times when life pass through like the wind

You try and hold as but it glides through your hand

There’s no idea when it’s going to end

As the hourglass slowly runs out of sand

At times when faith tends to decline

An doubts and failure are on the rise

And brighter days are far from your mind

Because it’s been so long since you closed your eyes

"Respect is the hardest dollar too earn

Hard times is a prerequisite for better days

and if the muscles in your neck don’t burn,

then you need to give up a little more praise"
