A Mother's Love by Stalin Usher gathered from LABEN newsletter dtd 5/98

Bringing a child to birth is not a matte guided by wealth

One makes extra efforts at the preservation of good health

Assuring yourself his life has the most loving start

You hold him close - to feel the pumping of his little heart

Mothers tend to be the greatest of the Creator's finest creations

With futures guaranteed as consistent preservers of nations

Carrying this burden for a lifetime may be quite unimaginable

But the philosophy of total genocide is most intolerable

Mothers for the most part have great unrecognized capabilities

But are usually contented to be overshadowed by another's abilities

Regarding offspring a mother's love is hard to share

Nonetheless well adjusted children are the result of a mother's care

Mother's sleepless nights filled with hours of pounding aches

Because learned children are making silly mistakes

Amazing though a mother sees her child do no wrong

Even though their separation has been most difficult and long

The most remarkable known emotion is a mother's love

An emotion any receiving child will be proudest of

A mother's love is not measured as a gallon or a quart.

Only the giver knows it comes from a sweet, pure heart.
